This Privacy Policy applies to our website at promptwars.gg, our mobile application, and any related products and services that link to this policy (the "Services").

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated through gameplay, and information collected automatically when you use the Services.

Information you provide

• Account information, such as email address, authentication identifiers, display name, character names, profile details, and account preferences.
• Waitlist information, such as email address and signup metadata.
• User Content, such as prompts, battle cries, character choices, reports, appeals, feedback, support messages, and profile information.
• Purchase-related information, such as product identifiers, subscription status, entitlement status, credit balances, transaction identifiers, and app-store purchase receipts. We do not receive full payment card numbers from app stores.
• Communications with us, including support requests, moderation reports, survey responses, and email messages.

Information collected automatically

• Device and app information, such as device type, operating system, app version, locale, time zone, crash logs, diagnostics, and performance data.
• Usage information, such as screens viewed, battles joined, prompts submitted, results viewed, purchases initiated, notifications opened, and feature interactions.
• Approximate location derived from IP address, where available, for security, fraud prevention, analytics, and regional compliance.
• Push notification tokens and delivery status if you enable notifications.
• Website information, such as IP address, browser type, referring page, pages visited, form submissions, and server logs.

3. Sources of Information

We collect information from you, your device, your use of the Services, app stores, payment and entitlement providers, authentication providers, moderation and AI providers, analytics providers, support tools, and other users who submit reports or interact with you in the Services.

4. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
• create and manage accounts, authentication, profiles, characters, battles, rankings, rewards, credits, and entitlements;
• process waitlist signups, launch notifications, support requests, reports, appeals, and service messages;
• submit prompts and battle context to AI systems for judging, moderation, result composition, and optional generated reveals;
• moderate prompts, generated content, profiles, reports, accounts, and shared materials;
• process purchases, subscriptions, refunds, credits, and entitlement validation;
• send push notifications, emails, and in-app messages where permitted;
• detect, prevent, and respond to abuse, cheating, account farming, fraud, security incidents, and technical issues;
• analyze usage, debug errors, test features, and measure game balance and product performance;
• comply with legal obligations, app store requirements, provider policies, and enforce our Terms.

5. AI and Generated Content Processing

Prompt Wars uses AI and AI-assisted providers to judge battles, moderate content, compose reveal payloads, generate optional videos or images, and support safety workflows. When you submit prompts or participate in battles, relevant battle information may be processed by our AI providers and infrastructure providers.

Information sent for AI processing may include prompts, themes, move types, character metadata, battle cries, scoring context, moderation context, and generated outputs. We limit this processing to what is reasonably needed to provide, secure, moderate, and improve the Services.

AI outputs may be stored with battle records, displayed to participants, shared when you use sharing features, reviewed for moderation, or used to improve game quality and safety.

6. How We Share Information

We may share information with:

• Service providers that host infrastructure, databases, storage, edge functions, email, analytics, crash reporting, notifications, support, and security systems.
• AI and moderation providers that process prompts, battle context, generated content, and safety signals.
• Payment, entitlement, and app-store providers, including Apple, Google, and RevenueCat, to process purchases and manage subscriptions and credits.
• Other users, when information is part of gameplay, battle results, profiles, rankings, reports, shared videos, or public/visible features.
• Authorities, regulators, courts, or third parties when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or to enforce our Terms.
• Business transferees if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising unless we provide any required notice and choice.

7. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies

Our website and app may use cookies, local storage, SDKs, logs, and similar technologies to keep the Services working, remember preferences, measure performance, understand usage, detect abuse, and improve reliability.

You can control some browser cookies through your browser settings. Mobile platforms may provide settings to limit ad tracking, analytics, or notifications. Disabling certain technologies may affect features.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain account and battle history, process purchases and credits, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, maintain moderation audit logs, and protect the integrity of rankings and gameplay.

Some information may be retained after account deletion where needed for legal, safety, fraud prevention, app store, accounting, backup, dispute, or game-integrity reasons.

9. International Transfers

We are based in Poland and use providers that may process information in the European Economic Area, the United States, and other countries. These countries may have data protection laws different from those in your location.

Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent lawful transfer mechanisms.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for promptly notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access.

13. Children

Prompt Wars is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
